The Supremacy of Capitalism and the Stupidity of Man by Ang Kai Wen

hi people. this is my first post here and im feeling quite high haha. so i shall expound on why capitalism rocks. for all you stupid idiots who think that "nooooo we love equality, DONT EXPLOIT US!!!" let me remind you the world hardly works that way. continue thinking like that and you'll die.

as the great Machiavelli once said: "Many have imagined republics and principalities which have never been seen or known to exist in reality; for how we live is so far removed from how we ought to live, that he who abandons what is done for what ought to be done, will rather bring about his own ruin than his preservation."

and w/r to the capitalist system of supposed exploitation. you claim that well, there is no social justice in the system. You can argue that in Asia, wages at one point were exploitatively low, and govts were engaged in draconian policies to suppress consumer demand and enforce a high level of savings. but look. we sweated blood (ok our grandfathers did) to attain our level of economic efficiency. and you claim that in doing so we're shitty?

who do you compare us to? the only ones other than us in the world are the Third World and the Communists. please, the third world just dies, and the Communists, like in the Cultural Revolution adn Stalin's early years, hundreds of millions died. so capitalism and its "exploitation" is clearly the least of all evils. and there are only these evils. no good "system".

so im afraid youre stuck with capitalism. with all its good and bads. you dun like it. committ suicide lor. and let me remind you of the wonder of free market forces.

From this website: http://news.com.com/2100-1040-823260.html

"Based on a review of thousands of completed auctions for "EverQuest" items and in-game currency, Castronova concluded that players earn an average wage of $3.42 for every hour they play the game and collectively produce annual gross "exports" of more than $5 million.
And if the "EverQuest" universe of Norrath were a country, its per-capita gross national product would be $2,266--comparable to the 77th richest country on Earth and ranking it between Russia and Bulgaria. Platinum pieces, the in-game currency known as pp, end up with an exchange rate of about a penny per pp, making "EverQuest" currency more valuable than the Japanese yen and the Spanish peseta."

note that most MMORPGs or online game markets are nearly Pure Democracies. there is pitiful government intervention (like the game developers suddenly put a new monster in or smth). and these fake economies still own the Third World. tsk.

ok ive said enough.
